What we'll do:
-Let's celebrate the approach of springtime with a hike and brunch! We'll meet at Rockville for a short hike then head on over to Valley Cafe on Suisun Valley Road to enjoy food and conversation!

What to bring:
-Wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle. Also, bring money to pay for brunch, everyone will buy their own meal and drinks!

Important to know:
-This is an inclusive group where diversity is celebrated and EVERYONE is welcome.

Social Media Detox

How many hours have you wasted this week, scrolling Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter? 

Have you ever closed Facebook, then reopened it a second later out of habit? 

What real world experiences are you missing out on while you’re immersed in the digital world? 

Did the title of this workshop make you nervous? 

This workshop will cover expert research on the impact social media has on the brain, empathy and relationships. You’ll also learn how to create your own plan to make social media support your life and add value to your day. (And no, you won’t have to go completely “off the grid”.) This is about bringing mindfulness to your social media usage, to shift from an unconscious habit to conscious consumption. 

You’ll walk away knowing how to:

🔸"Clean up” your social media feeds.

🔸Eliminate your worst social media habits.

🔸Create a morning and evening routine that you’ll love much more than checking Facebook, Instagram and Twitter over and over again.

🔸Stay connected to the people who matter most without letting social media run your life.

Led by Jess Cleland, founder of Studio 205 and a certified hypnotherapist who specializes in helping people bring more mindfulness into their everyday lives and relationships.

A Body Positive Workshop: Intro to Yoga

Join us for an introduction to Yoga workshop! This workshop will be designed to give you the tools and knowledge to feel confident taking a public class, or developing a home practice.

We'll explore some of the basics for following:
Benefits of Yoga
Meditation and relaxation
Pranayama (breathing)
Asana (Yoga poses)
Body alignment and safety
Props (Blocks, Straps)
Anatomy

Registration is limited to 10 students. Pre-registration cost is $20.00 via PayPal. Email steph.yoga@hotmail.com for PayPal information, or optional payment methods.
Cost on the day of is $25.00 (cash, paypal, or check).

What to bring: Yoga mat, water, and a small notebook. Bring a cushion or blanket to sit on if you'd like.

Hey Yoga fans! Looking for a gentle practice that both energizes and relaxes the body? Looking for a judgement free zone with good vibes and good music? Then come on down and join us!
This practice will consist of breathing exercises, asana (Yoga poses) and deep relaxation. I'll be playing the Tar, a middle eastern hand drum, during the final relaxation portion of the practice. Come and experience soothing drum beats, designed to enhance your relaxation experience.
